Would you pay $25 for a box of 9 chocolates? I believe I would, if I really wanted to pamper myself or my loved ones. During a recent meetup, our dear friend Chee bought a box of chocolates from Truffs for everyone to share.

The chocolate truffles from Truffs are presented in their most basic and purest form. Faithful to the traditional preparation techniques from France, each of these divine orbs is a thin cocoa powder coated chocolate crust enrobing a luscious chocolate ganache centre. Made with the finest ingredients from France, and delectably pure with no preservatives, this heavenly treat is a true delight for the senses.

The ones we tried were the 70% Honduras Dark Chocolate (9pcs at $25). Only die-hard dark chocolate lovers will be able to truly appreciate the intense bittersweet taste of this chocolate. There was also a faint and pleasant hint of flowery fragrance. I loved the cocoa powder coating as it provided a dry velvety texture. It was indeed a heavenly treat!

The two other Truffle varieties available are 55% équateur dark chocolate and 66% antilles dark chocolate.
