Art of Love

Wassup everyone! I had a super duper fun filled long weekend at Trick Eye Museum Singapore at Resorts World Sentosa! The name “Trick Eye” comes from the shortened form of the term Trick of the eye and refers to an art technique that turns two-dimensional paintings into three-dimensional images. It is through the use of optical illusions that three-dimensional paintings on the surfaces of the museum walls, floors and ceilings come alive. The museum offers various themed galleries where visitors are more than welcome to be part of the creative experience and are encouraged to explore with their eyes, hands and cameras too.

There are many artworks at the museum which are perfect interaction between parent and children, which makes Trick Eye Museum the latest family-friendly attraction in Singapore. Apart from family outings, it is also a great place for double dates too! So glad that we asked PR and J along, and we had double the fun! ๐Ÿ™‚ Hope you enjoy the photos that we took and please take part in our giveaway contest!

Resorts World Sentosa S.E.A. Aquarium on Christmas Eve!

RWS S.E.A Aquarium 389

Hope the long weekend had been a fantabulous one for all of you! Anybody took MC yesterday or even today? LOL. Ok jokes aside, I have decided to let this post jump queue because misterchewy planned a trip to Resorts World Sentosa S.E.A Aquarium on Christmas Eve for the both of us and I just want to share our experience with all of you! ๐Ÿ˜€

RWS S.E.A Aquarium 382

We were kinda putting things to the very last minute and good thing misterchewy suggested visiting the world’s largest oceanarium! He booked 1 day passes at $29 per adult the day before but the queue to board the monorail was madness!

RWS S.E.A Aquarium 395

Well, good things are worth the wait right? Hahaha. Omgee we were so so so excited! ๐Ÿ˜€ I was totally looking forward to this because my last time being so close to marine life is at least two years ago, when I last dived at Krabi. Ok la this one is different but still quite close. I used to keep a dive blog! Haha stopped updating in 2009 ๐Ÿ˜› My dream is to go scuba diving with misterchewy one day! I know he is reading this. ๐Ÿ˜›

Shipwreck! I wonder where did this come from? Don’t think they purposely sank a ship just for this..

There was also a horseshoe crab in this tank which was totally cute. I was doing a half squat half kneel while taking photos when this little boy screamed, “HORSESHOE CRAB!” and he climbed and trampled over me. >_< Good thing he was really adorable so I didn't mind.

I learned through diving that we should not use flash photography when shooting seahorse!

We were awestruck by the magnificent marine life before us! It was definitely a very spectacular display and many people just sat and camped in front of the viewing gallery.

Heh heh I was famished but not craving for any kinda fish in particular! Everyone was giving a $5 voucher because not all of the fishes had been transported to the S.E.A Aquarium so I’m guessing this voucher thingy will be temporary. I got a tuna and egg mayo focaccia sandwich and a bottle of green tea to satisfy my hunger! Not a fan of ham so I chose tuna ๐Ÿ˜›

If you are feeling a little more extravagant, you can head to the Ocean Restaurant! They serve sustainable seafood ๐Ÿ™‚

I have seen this moray eel a number of times when I went diving! Yes it’s quite scary and I have to control my buoyancy well so that I don’t crash into it. >_<

Souvenirs and soft toys for everyone! Nothing caught my eye. Maybe I’m really too old for this. LOL.

RWS S.E.A Aquarium 674

Heh heh. So what do you guys think? Worth the $29 per person or not? Somemore got $5 voucher. LOL. The Chewys had a pretty mind-blowing experience at Resorts World Sentosa S.E.A. Aquarium and we believe people of all ages will love it as much as we did! ๐Ÿ™‚ Not sure if I have the time or energy to do a summary of 2012 blog post so this could be our last post of the year! Happy New Year in advance! ๐Ÿ˜‰
