What first comes to your mind when someone mentions IKEA Restaurant & Cafe? For me, it is definitely Swedish meatballs!

My tennis partner and I had a craving for Swedish meatballs ($6.50 for 10). Hey, what’s new? Ok they tasted as awesome as before when we were there about half a year ago.

We tried something new too! The Cold Water Prawns ($4.20) caught her attention. Apparently they are caught from Greenland’s deep waters (I wonder how true is this) and served chilled with lemon and dill. Actually, the prawns are quite pale in color and does not look like much. However, we were in for a surprise when we both took a bite! The prawns were surprisingly tasty! We had a difficult time polishing off the entire bowl because there were just too many of them.

The Chicken Wings ($3 for 2) here can be branded as Ikea chicken wings! They definitely taste different from the normal chicken wings. But I can do without them because I’m only here for the meatballs 😛

See you again, swedish meatballs! We shall meet in about half a year’s time when I restring my racket over at Queensway, or maybe less if I have a craving for you 😉

Total bill (inclusive of drinks) was about $20.
